And they were great systems.  In their time.

Many pyrotechnic show companies rely on the vastly improved features that those systems brought to the "battery/wire/switch/button firing systems" of the past. And great Pyrotechnic Shows have been produced by these sage old systems.

But we wanted more.

Enter the Catalyst series of Pyrotechnic Control Systems.
